It’s not surprising that coca-cola was sold at the 1936 Olympics, or in early Nazi Germany for that matter, but the slogan “ein Volk ein Reich ein Getrank”??? I suppose the similarity to “ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Führer” was an attempt to be funny, but seriously?? It’d be interesting to see what people at the time thought of the ad…Maybe I’ll poke around the internet today, to try and find out.
